Queensland Racing Limited is the peak control body for the thoroughbred racing industry in the State of Queensland.

It coordinates, manages, and regulates the industry through a number of distinct functions including:

• administration of the rules of racing;
• enforcement of standards of safety and integrity;
• licensing industry participants;
• registering race clubs and monitoring their activities;
• racecourse development and capital works;
• research and promotional activities;
• administration of industry funding and commercial agreements; and
• representing the Queensland Racing Industry on the peak national body, the Australian Racing Board, and its Sub-committees

TRACKDATA is a racing information, news, links and data service provider, for both Australian and International racing. The focus is on the wagering side of horse racing, especially in regard to online betting and exchange trading.

The website provides a number of unique items, including Race Analysis charts providing 20 year historical summaries of feature races, Betting Analysis reports providing opening odds and market opinions on likely market movers, and Racetrack Satellite images of all metropolitan tracks. Trackdata particularly prides itself on providing the most comprehensive set of racing information links on the internet.

 The Queensland Racing Winter Carnival website is an initiative of Queensland’s thoroughbred governing body - Queensland Racing.

The website gives readers information and photography on races conducted by Doomben, Eagle Farm, Tattersall’s, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Sunshine Coast race clubs between April and August annually.
