The Justracing camera was at the Ipswich Greyhound Club meeting yesterday and captured Swell Server airborne, as the greyhound won Race 4 on the ten event card. The dog was heavily backed late to run the $1.90 favourite on Unitab.

This was the Race 4 field as they swung out of the straight on the first occasion, after exiting the 520-metre boxes and eventual winner Swell Server leads in the check rug, from third placegetter Program Control in the white rug.

This photo of Confetti Bomb which ran second to Swell Server in Race 4 shows readers the incredible forces that are on a racing athlete's front legs, as they balance their body to negotiate sharp turns.

This is a photo of Tasha Collett hitting the line first to win the Iris Nielsen Ladies Invitation aboard Rare Diamond last Sunday at Ballina. Check out what was happening behind her on the fence.
Visiting South Australian jockey Clare Lindop aboard Sista Kugah is seen smiling for apprentice Tasha Collett who had been successful in the Iris Nielsen Ladies Invitation in a great display of sportsmanship. Who said women all hate each other?
Glen Colless aboard the Alan Bailey trained More More More got the day's action under way by coming from last to win at Eagle Farm last Saturday.
Thank God Scott Seamer had just ridden a winner - Topkapi Palace - when this photo was taken, then again I suppose if you'd won a Caulfield and Melbourne Cup, winning a lowly Class 6 isn't much of a thrill.
Desleigh Forster trained Topkapi Palace to win Race 2 at Eagle Farm last Saturday. The Easy Rocking gelding firmed from $9 to run $6 officially.
It was nice to see Toowoomba based jockey Chris Maund return to ride at metropolitan meetings in Brisbane last Saturday. He clocked in seventh to Azzaland with his mount Sequallan, in track record time in Race 4 on the card. Weight has always been Chris' major enemy.

This was the scene at the Ipswich Greyhound Club yesterday afternoon when handler Anita Watts brought the winner of Race 4, Swell Server back to its trainer. To the right, veteran trainer Barry Morris walks out to collect his runner Where's The Love which ran unplaced. Want to see a close up shot of Anita?
This is Anita Watts with Box 6 runner in Race 6 - Uno Trivia. The dog ran at $41 on Unitab and from memory also clocked in sixth. Anita works for Uno Trivia's trainer Rob Essex and she told me that they are looking after "about 20 dogs at present".

Young children enjoyed the day out at the Ipswich Greyhound Club yesterday. These youngsters lined the fence to watch the start of Race 5, a Novice, over the 431-metre trip.
They're off in Race 5 at Ipswich as the sand flies - and Box 4 runner Prince Darius, obviously named after the top racehorse who kept running into Tulloch, has jumped on the bunny, paying $20.10 on Unitab. Can he stay in front?
Yes he can - and here is proof, as he goes on to score, beating Box 7 (black rug runner) No Probs and Box 8 (pink rug) runner Space Walker..
Toowoomba trained galloper Azzaland wins Race 4 at Eagle Farm last Saturday and breaks the track record. Clocking in second is the grey Monashee Dancer.
Toowoomba Ronnie Goltz was all smiles after winning the last race on the heavily backed Poor Judge who firmed from $4.80 to run at $4.

This is a file photo I took a couple of years ago of Rockhampton jockeys Shayla Quick and Michael Evans, just prior to their wedding. Shayla rode Race 6 winner, the $12 chance, Hezaburraboy for trainer John O'Sing, at the Rockhampton meeting last Tuesday.
This is a file photo I took at Warwick one day of three kilogram claiming apprentice Carly-Mae Pye who won a double last Tuesday at Rockhampton aboard Ima Cool Dude for John Pointon in Race 5 and Run The Rapids for Garry Peut in Race 7. She'd also run a narrow second in Race 2 on King Kanawa.
